This is an anti theft device. NEW....I just opened the box to take a picture. Easily mounted. I did a little reading on these and they are fairly easy to install and when installed properly there is no way to start your vehicle. This comes with 2 keys that have 16 pins in them. There is over 100,000 key combinations, so for someone to have the same combination as you is slim to none. A small hole drilled under the dash or glove-box to mount the receiver. This works on cars, trucks, motorcycles, tractors and even boats! Gasoline, diesel and hybrid engines. For any Vehicle, old or new! Please e-mail if any questions and I will try to answer the best I can. **** COMES WITH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS****
Just read about Revelco online, showing that they did a test on 5 different anti theft device's in Texas and NO-ONE could get the car started and they had to tow the car to a local dealer to have them re-wire. Amazing!!!!! Will work with other car alarms as an added deterrent. There is a lot of information on the internet especially on you-tubeā¦so please check it out! THIS IS NOT, I REPEAT, NOT A KNOCK-OFF.... it is an ORIGINAL. This item belonged to an AUTHORIZED RAVELCO DEALER. Installation can be done by any local radio/alarm installer. Please do not hesitate to ask if you do have any questions. Thanks. I AM ADDING THIS NOTE, I CANNOT PROMISE THAT YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD ALARM/ STEREO INSTALLER WILL INSTALL. |

AutoWeek office swag: Mazda rotary-engine keychain with realistic motion
Fri, 20 May 2011When I got the keys to our long-term 2011 Mazda 5 last week, they came with a surprise--this aluminum-and-brass keychain in the shape of a rotary-engine housing, complete with moving rotor. The rotor doesn't just rattle around or spin in a circle. Thanks to a thumbwheel on the back of the housing, coupled with a timing gear and offset crank journal, the thing actually moves in an approximation of epitrochoidal motion just like a real Wankel.
Driving with criminals
Sun, 10 Feb 2013At first it had all the appearances of a routine police checkpoint, a simple little affair in which some warnings might be issued, possibly some speeding tickets. But otherwise our group of 18 or so U.S. automotive journalists driving a fleet of high-priced Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG sedans would be allowed to continue on our merry way through the Spanish countryside.
