Jaguar's innovative dual-view screen will be illegal in the US It would be horrifying for Jaguar to discover that they’d built a glorious car like the new Jaguar XJ, only to find they’d dropped a huge clanger by making it an illegal road car in the US. It’s not that bad, but Ian Callum – Jaguar’s design guru – has confessed that the dual-view screen in the new XJ is actually not legal in the US. Whoops.

Chrysler rolls out 'No Payments for 90 Days' incentives

As worries grow of a second-half sales slowdown, Chrysler Group announced new incentives this week for 2011 and 2012 models. Under the “No Payments for 90 Days” promotion, buyers of 2011 or 2012 Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram Truck vehicles who finance their purchases through Ally Financial won't have to make payments for three months. Finalists announced in Fiat UK's 'Smiles per Hour' design competition

Fiat UK has picked five finalists in the ‘Smiles per Hour Design Competition', a design contest we first told you about back in July. The aim of the competition was to find a budding designer in Britain who would develop a clever and amusing new way to travel. Following an initial judging process, the selection for best designs comprised of Simon Tarrant's 'Street Rower'; Nick Rawcliffe's 'Snowbone'; Natalie Daghestani's 'Hylo female commuter shoe'; Steven Spong's ‘Longbow'; and Harley Zblewski's 'Suitcase Car' -  a design we first saw at Coventry University's annual Degree Show in June.
