Mitsubishi Outlander Juro Review & Road Test (2010) Part 2
Mon, 23 Aug 2010Mitsubishi Outlander Juro Review Part 2 What we have in for the week is the Mitsubishi Outlander Juro, a Limited Edition model with all the bells and whistles designed as a lead-in for the new Outlander. It’s what you’d normally expect a lead-out model to be, but for some reason Mitsubishi decided a lead-in model was appropriate. Mercedes A 45 AMG goes off-road in the Desert (video)
Mon, 27 Jan 2014The Mercedes A 45 AMG struts its stuff in the desert The Mercedes A 45 AMG is now starting to appear in small numbers on UK roads after buyers have been tempted to shell out nearly £40k for the quickest Mercedes A-Class there’s ever been. But it seems Mercedes don’t want us to think of the A 45 AMG as just a very hot hatch for the roads, but as a little hot hatch with some proper off-road pretensions. So they’ve taken the A 45 AMG off to West Africa to show it at play on the dirt tracks and sand dunes, and we have to say that Mercedes 4MATIC four wheel drive does seem to make a decent fist of coping with what’s thrown at it.
One Lap of the Web: Mock the Week Edition
Mon, 17 Feb 2014-- Mazda Europe designer Peter Birthwhistle talks about the future of Mazda: potential hybrid and electric powertrains for the Skyactiv-obsessed company, and how we'll all be driving Mazda-branded pods in the 22nd century. But he also mentions, rather interestingly, how certain Mazdas capture a quintessentially long-hood, RWD look -- and not just the Miata, either, which is RWD. No, it's the exhaust systems on those Skyactiv engines that force a longer, larger hood compartment, and the "long, flowing looks" not usually found on FWD engines.
