Maserati GranCabrio is set for a Frankfurt debut, will go on sale this year
Mon, 24 Aug 2009Maserati will debut the GranCabrio, its first four-seat convertible, at the Frankfurt motor show. The GranCabrio is a soft-top variant of the four-seat GranTurismo. It has a roof that opens or closes in 28 seconds and will go on sale by the end of this year.

The fully automatic electro-hydraulic folding metal roof is a two-piece unit that converts the coupe to convertible in just 14 seconds. When the roof is up, the boot has a 360-litre capacity, shrinking to 260 when the hard-top is folded away.
Elon Musk says NYT story cost Tesla $100 million

The NYT-Tesla saga began on Feb. 8 with reviewer John Broder recounting the tale of how he was stranded when the Model S didn't live up to its 300-mile claimed range.
