Sun, 16 May 2010The Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA & Alfa Romeo 8C GTA Spied Through the early part of last year we were convinced Alfa Romeo were going to launch a halo version of that cracking little car the MiTo, and bring the GTA badge out of the history box at the same time to create the Alfa MiTo GTA. Blimey, we not only managed to report details of the MiTo GTA but even had a video from Alfa of the MiTo GTA concept running around. But that all seemed to go out of the window when reports started flying round the car world last July that the Alfa MiTo GTA was dead and the hottest we’d get was the Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio, although on both occasions we expressed the belief – probably more in hope than expectation – that Alfa would give us the MiTo GTA.
Lamborghini Gallardo production ends as its replacement is trailed
Wed, 27 Nov 2013No sooner has the death knell finished tolling for the now departed Lamborghini Gallardo – the firm’s best-selling model ever – the Italian supercar manufacturer is already teasing the Gallardo’s replacement. On a new website – Hexagonproject.com – Lambo is revealing "the roar of its new creature," which is thought to be called the Cabrera. Seat Ibiza Cupra (2013) production car shown
Mon, 05 Nov 2012Seat has shown the production version of the new Ibiza Cupra - six months after showing the concept at the 2012 Beijing motor show. And, as predicted, very little has changed for 2013's new Ibiza hot hatch. It's powered by VW's 1.4 TSI engine, complete with twin-charging by super- and turbocharger.
