Two Components Keyed Alike
Please note: We can not key two of these #2848 lock sets together.
This keyed alike set (one key works both locks) comes complete with the two locks necessary to secure the trailers coupler latch and the ball mount to the receiver. The two locks are described in detail below.
The receiver hitch lock features the NEWPush To Lock Security - no key required to lock, simply push the pin into the swivel locking head.
Component #1
The straight portion of the shaft's length is exactly 2-7/8" long.
This chrome plated steel lock protects from theft when securing the ball mount to the receiver. The lock comes with two pins, fitting 5/8" & 1/2" diameter receiver holes.
5/8" diameter pin fits 2" receiver tubes, Class III / IV, 10,000 lb. load rating. 1/2" diameter pin fits 1-1/4" receiver tubes, Class II, 5,000 lb. load rating.

Ball Mount to Receiver Lock

This stainless steel adjustable lock protects and guards against tow-away theft. The lock works when the trailer is either connected to the tow vehicle or when the trailer is unattached. The lock prevents the coupler latch from moving, therefore preventing either the coupler to be removed from the ball, or not allowing a ball to be placed into the coupler. Six locking positions from9/16" to 2-3/4".

Most auctions and store inventory items have stated shipping amounts. On all other items we charge the exact Fed Ex published shipping rates (insurance included). Our goal is to offer our customer the most cost-effective shipping. When possible we combine multiple purchases into one package. For United States shipping we primarily use FedEx Ground, FedEx Home Delivery, and US Postal Service Priority Mail, neither require a signature for delivery.
For International Shipments, we use the US Postal Service Priority Mail International and First Class Mail International. International shipments include a small $1.00 to $2.00 handling fee.
We will notify you when a package has been shipped and the shipper will provide you with the tracking information and the expected transit time.
