Red Combo Coiled Smart Cord

The new Smart-cord Mute Display works with special circuitry built into your radar detector.  A Power-On LED lights only when your radar detector is plugged in and turned on.  (Note: When they are turned off, there will be no lights lit on the Smart-cord).  A larger bright Alert LED will flash whenever your detector is picking up a signal.  A convenient Mute button lets you silence the audio during an alert.  It's the perfect addition to avoid reaching the detector's mute button on the windshield.  For night driving, put your radar detector in the dark mode, using the Smart-cord for visual alerts.  Other drivers won't know you have a detector.  Instructions included.

This one half straight cord and one half coiled cord provides a cleaner look and extra length.

Works with ALL current Escort and Beltronics models.

This is an Escort genuine OEM part (Original Equipment Manufacturer), not aftermarket.

Ralph Gilles talks past, present and SRT future

    Wed, 07 Aug 2013

Ralph Gilles -- SRT boss, Chrysler vice president of design, curator of something called the "Man Van," has become the public face of Chrysler performance, carrying the legacy of Firepower engines and 428 Coronets and the Dodge Viper RT/10 into the future with the Challenger, Charger and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8s. Since "unofficially" helping form it in 2003, Gilles has seen SRT transformed into Chrysler's most coherent performance strategy since Plymouth Rapid Transit, a company-wide force so much greater than the flagship Dodge Viper. He was there from the beginning.
