Bugatti Veyron Blue Centenaire (2009) unveiled at Geneva motor show 2009
Tue, 03 Mar 2009Bugatti Blue Centenaire unveiled at Geneva motor show 2009 By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 03 March 2009 12:59 There seems to be a new version of the infamous Bugatti Veyron at every motor show, but even we were taken with the Bleu Centenaire on display at the 2009 Geneva motor show. Not at all, though 987bhp already seems ample to us. Instead, the Blue Centenaire Bugatti has been built to celebrate the company's 100th anniversary, and is the start of a number of celebrational activities that are planned to take place throughout 2009.
Porsche 911 RS models through the ages – on video
Fri, 26 Mar 2010By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 26 March 2010 06:35 Porsche GB has issued a rather cool video detailing the history of the 911 RS models – filmed in situ at the new Porsche Experience Centre in Silverstone.Unlike most corporate videos, this one is remarkably free of commercial sells – although we should remember its presenter will be a tad biased! But we're posting it here because we reckon it's a great video guide to the most hardcore of 911s, tracing the history of the lightweight Renn Sport specials all the way back from the 1973 original up to the present day.>> Rip-off or rip-rorting? Porsche to add 1,000 employees
Mon, 14 Feb 2011To keep pace with its planned model expansion and sales targets, Porsche AG will add more than 1,000 employees by 2015, Automotive News Europe has learned from Volkswagen Group sources. About 500 jobs will be added for production of Porsche's new compact SUV, codenamed the Cajun, which will go on sale in 2013 in Europe and in North America about six months later. Porsche's supervisory board will make a decision on the production location of the Cajun in mid-March.
