Up for auction is 2 Points Type Distributors. One is a Remanufactured A1 Cardone with New Standard Cap, Rotor and Coil. The other is a used points distributor with new points and coil. The used distributor came out of my 71 Chevy Monte Carlo V8 and the remanufactured one was a replacement for the same car. I opted to go with an HEI Distributor when it was all said and done. Take your driving test – at Halfords

Plans have been announced to extend practical driving test centres in to Halfords stores, starting with Wellingborough on February 5th. At the moment, there are around 400 driving test centres in the UK where you can take the practical part of your driving test, but that’s about to change with the news that Halfords – the car accessories chain – is to start offering driving tests. Halfords stores around the UK are expected to start offering test facilities after Road Safety Minister, Stephen Hammond, gave the go ahead for to extend driving test in to local stores to give learners more choice.

The Vauxhall Ampera costs £28,995 - even after the taxpayer chips in £5k Sensibly, Vauxhall has chosen to reveal the price of the range-extender Vauxhall Ampera on the day it was included on the list of cars eligible for the £5,000 taxpayer subsidy for plug-in cars. Vauxhall will be getting £33,995 for every Ampera they shift, although the buyer will pay £28,995 thanks to the taxpayer subsidy. Which, whether you pick the subsidised price or the actual price, is an awful lot of money.
