Aston Martin One-77 WILL Show at Geneva
Tue, 03 Mar 2009Aston Martin One-77 WILL Show at Geneva today [ad#ad-1] Autoblog are reporting this morning that our news last week that we’d seen the real Aston Martin One-77, and therefore concluded it was going to show at Geneva, are right. The Aston Martin One-77 is going to be previewed later today at the Motor Show in Geneva. It features a highly tuned (by Cosworth) version of Aston Martin’s Ford derived 6,0 litre V12, which has been enlarged to 7.3 litres.
Aston Martin sales UP in 2013 – new platform being developed
Tue, 29 Apr 2014Aston Martin sales and revenue up in 2013 Aston Martin has revealed its results for 2013 – its centenary year – which show the coolest car brand on the planet managed to increase sales by 11 per cent – to around 4,200 cars – and revenue to £519 million, an increase of 13 per cent over 2012. Aston Martin’s earnings before EBITDA (that’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) were up a strong 22 per cent to £84.8 million, demonstrating strong operating profitability, although actual earnings were marginal. But Aston Martin are bullish about the performance, and equally bullish about the future.
McLaren P13 set to arrive in 2014
Sun, 24 Mar 2013The next new car from McLaren – codenamed P13 and set to take on the Porsche 911 and Audi R8 – now looks set to arrive in 2014. McLaren’s plans for a new range of road cars have been in play for a number of years, and we initially expected the 12C to arrive first to take on the Ferrari 458, which it did, followed by a cheaper McLaren set to take on cars like the Porsche 911 and Audi R8. We got the McLaren MP4-12C (which McLaren now like us to call the 12C) followed by the 12C Spider – just as we first thought - but it seems McLaren was under pressure from its new dealer network to get the replacement for the legendary F1 out next, so McLaren switched tack and delivered the new McLaren P1.
