Three-cylinder Ford Focus is pushed to show off performance potential
Tue, 05 Jun 2012Ford has plans to bring a three-cylinder EcoBoost engine to its U.S. lineup in a bit more than a year from now, likely in the Fiesta. But for a car-buying population that thrives on horsepower and 0-to-60-mph times, it might be hard to get excited by a 1.0-liter three-banger.
Kia’s ‘Stunning Sports Car Concept’ gets a name – it’s the Kia GT4 Stinger
Fri, 03 Jan 2014Kia’s ‘Stunning Sports Car Concept’ is the Kia GT4 Stinger Just before Christmas, Kia revealed the first teaser photo – a birds-eye view – of a new concept they’re taking to the Detroit Auto Show later this month, which they described as a stunning sports concept, but gave us absolutely nothing else. Ken Block & Mini-Me – the Video
Sun, 06 Sep 2009Ken Block & Rob Dyrdek Driving & Drifting The last report we did on Ken Block was after he delighted Top Gear’s James May with his antics in California, but now we have what can probably best be described as a comic teaser for what will be his next big video outing – Gymkhana 3.0. In this video – dubbed Gymkhana 2.1 – Ken Block gets a new sidekick – professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek – who takes to a ‘Mini-Me’ kart version of Ken’s WRX Subaru in a playful drifting and playing game. The video is full of amusing comparisons, but just in case you don’t get it’s supposed to be funny we get treated to the Benny Hill theme tune – you know, the one where Benny gets chased in quick-time by a bunch of be-stockinged lovelies.
