Up for auction is a restored a/c unit for 1968-1972 GM A-bodies such as the Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, Skylark, Cutlass, 442, Lemans, and GTO. The unit was completely disassembled and all parts were gone through. The housing was bead blasted and clear coated to give it's original look again. It has a new evaporator and blower motor( a $300 value. Will include a new relay also, if applicable). The poa valve was rebuilt and replated. New schrader valves were also installed. It can be calibrated to 134A or R12. The expansion valve was rebuilt and replated as well. The squirrel cage was reconditioned. The resistor and ambient temp sensor were all bench tested and reconditioned. New o-rings were installed as well as new screws, cork tape and gum cord to help seal the unit. Hold-down clips were also replated. As you can see, this a very nice looking unit that would compliment anything from a driver to show cars. There are a few differences between the years and models. I can make it correct for your particular car. If you have any questions what so ever, do not hesitate to ask. Also, if interested, please contact me for shipping price as the ebay calculator has not been accurate.

World’s most famous three-seater’s central driving position was claimed to offer perfect weight distribution, but Gordon Murray’s main-frame brain must have calculated that he could save hours giving demo rides to all his friends and neighbours if he installed an extra chair.
