Overall good condition... Front side has some light pitting and scratches... The reverse also has scratch marks plus some staining where emblem was attached... Manufactured by the Douglas Co.in Minneapolis, Mn... They design and manufacture many items including nameplates, product and decal graphics for the O.E.M. marketplace...  We believe this emblem is for Crestliner boats manufactured between 1959 and 1960... We're not sure when it was manufactured but it is a very cool Silver-colored Emblem shaped like a Sea Eagle with the Crestliner Name in Red... Great for any restoration project or even to hang on your wall... It measures 11.5" x 6"... Car spending 'more than holidays'

NEARLY HALF of drivers in the UK spend more disposable income on their car than anything else, according to a survey. Spending on cars (47%) easily outweighs the amount spent on holidays (21%) and socialising with friends (13%), the poll from Halfords Autocentres showed. But the survey also found that 10% of drivers were cutting back on car maintenance to save money.

Mercedes-Benz reveals first C-class details

Mercedes-Benz has revealed limited details about its new fourth-generation C-class sedan, more than two months before it is due to make its world debut at the Detroit auto show. Although the new BMW 3-series and Audi A4 rival is yet to official unveiled -- in fact, all we have so far are interior renderings -- Mercedes-Benz says the new C-class will be a significantly more advanced car than its predecessor in terms of construction, with a “best in class” weight figure and a level of structural integrity that it describes as being “unparalleled” in its class. Among its features is a new lightweight body structure that uses a newly developed aluminum hybrid construction process that Mercedes-Benz claims will shave as much as 220 pounds over the current model depending on the engine it uses.
