Revmaster 2100D(dual ignition) S/N A-2219 with about 400hr. The best VW conversion as it is the only one that will accept wood, metal, composit, constant speed propellers. Has: AC LA47 plugs, oil cooler, built in alternator, Bendix D4RN-202J Twin magneto, Complete shop/build manual, intake manifolds, Lord motor mount rubbers, oil filter ( has Fram PH 3816 but would recommend PH 8A That I use on my other Revmaster). No carburetor. Purchased 2 in 1998. This one had a minor prop strike with wooden prop and run out checked good. I could only use one which had 0 time so pickled this one for future and rotated periodically, stored in my garage since 1998 and health prevents any further use. Tesla recalls Roadster for short in power cable, fire risk
Tue, 05 Oct 2010Tesla Motors is recalling its electric Roadster 2.0 and 2.5 models because a power cable may short and catch fire. The 12-volt cable, located behind the right-front headlight, could rub against the carbon-fiber paneling causing the cable to short, begin smoking and possibly catch fire, Tesla said. The cable is part of a backup system that powers the headlights, taillights, turn signals and airbags if the primary 12-volt cable fails.

Fri, 04 Sep 2009The Limited Edition BMW M6 Competition will be at Frankfurt (click image for bigger photo) It doesn’t look like the M6 Competition gets much fiddling with the oily bits, although the suspension is being tweaked and lowered – 10mm at the front and 12mm at the back. The M6 Competition sees a new colour option – Frozen Grey Matt – which does look pretty special on the M6. The interior gets a ‘limited edition’ makeover, with buyers getting the choice between Merino full leather interior with either black or light grey two-tone contrast stitching. BMW are also throwing in a set of mats with ‘M6 Competition’ stitched in them in case you forget what you bought.

The B-Max demonstrates a production ready B-pillar-less sliding rear door, as well as other ecologically minded additions, strongly suggesting that the show car is little more than a thinly veiled doppelganger for a production model. The B segment car is powered by a turbocharged three cylinder, one liter EcoBoost engine, combined with a start-stop mechanism to produce significantly improved economy and CO2 ratings.
