RevTech - Setting the Performance Standard

RevTech® cases are 356-T6 aluminum cast in permanent molds with all of the finish-machining done on CNC mills. The bearing support plate (trapdoor) is forged, and virtually indestructible.
The heart and soul of our transmissions are the famous RevTech® gear sets. Our gears are ground using the latest high-tech machining processes virtually eliminating internal stress in their metal structure. Most other manufacturers use more economical machining that relies on brute force to shape gears, but leaves internal stresses that can cause failure.
RevTech® shifting dogs are back-cut to eliminate missed shifts and false neutrals, and as a final step, gear components are computer-matched to provide smooth, vibration-free operation.
When it's time to put a bulletproof 5-speed transmission in a Big Twin, there's nothing available that can touch a RevTech® transmission. Gear sets are precision-engineered to provide the strength to handle anything you can throw at them, and feature close-ratio 2.94:1 first gears. The close-ratio sets provide more first gear speed and less gap between first and second.

Kia K9 sedan, camouflaged Sportage spied testing
Tue, 16 Apr 2013Kia was doing a bit of vehicle testing around Mammoth Lake, Calif., last weekend, and Autoweek reader Kristoffer Gjevre was there to capture the convoy. His photos show a camouflaged small SUV/ crossover and a completely undisguised K9 sedan backed up by Hyundai Santa Fe and Veloster support vehicles. Based on the roofline and A, B and C pillars, that small crossover appears to be a Kia Sportage -- and the heavy concealment at the front and rear of the vehicle suggest updated fascias may be in the works.

Cluttered-up cars failing MOT test
Wed, 19 Mar 2014CLUTTERED-UP cars are causing thousands of drivers to fail the MOT test. Some vehicles are not passing the test as the screenwash is not topped up, the survey by Whatcar.com found. Test centres are also failing vehicles as they have stickers on the windscreen that block the driver's view, while some drivers even turn up for a test sporting no number plates.
