This is a brand new unused kit. Only taken out of the box for mock up. Has never had fluid in it, the banjo bolts have never been tightened, so even the washers are unused. Reason for selling is we are going with a larger wheel/tire/brake combination. This is a really nice kit, the rotors are zinc coated to prevent rust, and are drilled for both 4.5 and 4.75 bolt patterns. The calipers have the built in parking brake assembly. It will fit any big bearing 9 inch ford rear, old style or new style. It has all the brackets for all housing end bolt patterns, and caliper spacers for each offset. It includes the stainless parking brake cables as well. This sells new at Summit for $434. I also upgraded to the braided stainless flex hoses for the calipers. So I have $480 invested in this kit. I will sell it all for $400. I will ship to continental USA for $15......

The Mini is 50 years old today
Fri, 08 May 2009Today - 08/05/2009 - is the 50th anniversary of the first Mini rolling off the production line. To celebrate, and for a bit of free publicity (see, we’re playing the game) BMW has shipped the first Mini to roll of the production line back to Cowley to celebrate (picture at the bottom). 621 AOK, a Mini Minor, in Old English White, looks as fresh as the day it rolled off the production line half a century ago (although I wouldn’t mind betting it doesn’t have it’s original sills – they always rusted through – or copes with its original distributor and leads – one splash of rain and the car ground to a halt!).
