Join CAR as we explore the potted history of the fearsome 24 Heures du Mans endurance race.    In the beginningThe Tricolor dropped for the first time on 27 May 1923 as one third of the Rudge Whitworth Triennial Cup, a trio of events whereby the team covering the most distance over three 24-hour races was declared the winner.

Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray [w/Gallery]

Chevrolet has unveiled its new seventh-generation Corvette, the Stingray, at the 2013 North American International Auto Show. The Stingray's exterior and interior have been completely redesigned from the outgoing model. A stainless steel bar splits the broad grille horizontally at the base of the sleek hood, which is raked with lines and air intake vents.

Saab 9-3X (2009) first official pictures

Instead it’s the 9-3X, a jacked-up estate in the style of the Audi Allroad. Like the Audi, it’s only available in estate guise (Sport Wagon in Saab speak), and will be officially unveiled at the 2009 Geneva motor show in just a few weeks' time.
