 RJS SFI 16.1 CAM LOCK 5PT SEAT BELT HARNESS FLOOR MOUNT BLACK 30298-19-06-UNIThis listing is for a New RJS Racing Equipment 5 Point Racing Cam Lock Racing Harness. The SFI 16.1 Harness has a 3" Pull Down Individual Shoulder Harness that bolts or wraps to the floor or the roll bar that runs just above the floor. The belt has 3" Pull Down Lap Belts with Wrap/Bolt in anchors. The submarine belt is 2" that will bolt or wrap. This is a Universal Belt and can be used with Wrap or Bolt Anchors or both. This is the most popular Floor Mount Cam Lock out there. This harness is Black in color but if you would like another color please leave a note or message at checkout. The price is still the same for Black, Blue, Red, Orange, Yellow, Gray, Purple, and Hot Pink. This item will come with a current SFI tag within the month/year that it is purchased. This is also a re-certifiable belt through RJS Racing Equipment after two years and can be re-certified three times in its lifetime of 10 years. This harnesses is manufactured by RJS Racing Equipment out of The Motor City since 1959. One of the last American companies still offering American made products to the world. This item is NOT an overseas cheap manufactured part with a bootlegged SFI tag. Every Part of this belt is manufactured in Detroit, Michigan and assembled in Jupiter, Florida. London's GPS-based speed-limit trial puts Big Brother's foot on the gas pedal
Wed, 08 Jul 2009A fleet of 12 Toyota Priuses in London have been fitted with GPS-linked speed limiters to measure how drivers respond to having their speed controlled by a computer rather than their own feet. For now, the trial is local to London, run by Transport for London, the agency that manages the city's roads, buses, subways and trains. The agency is using its own fleet of Priuses for the test and will add a bus and a taxi later this year.
Le Mans champ: laser lights are the future
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Three-time Le Mans 24 Hours race champion Allan McNish has told us that technology first trialled at the world famous endurance event often makes it on to road cars – and this year’s big thing will be laser lights. Speaking ahead of Le Mans 2014, McNish said that racing is more relevant to everyday cars than people think – with features from seat belts to windscreen wipers debuting at the race.
