Why are ROADMASTER mounting brackets rated #1?

  • Every bracket design is subjected to computer-simulated "Finite Elemental Analysis." We are the only manufacturer using computerized testing to ensure structural integrity.
  • Every mounting bracket is custom-made to fit a specific vehicle or range of vehicles, and to attach at logical points along the frame or undercarriage, for maximum strength and a quick, easy installation.
  • Every new bracket (not just a few) in the ROADMASTER XL, MX, AND 'EZ Twistlock' series
(the brackets are described below) comes with detachable extensions which are easily removed when the vehicle isn't being towed — no unsightly steel hanging off the front of your car!
  • Every bracket is powder coated. In this process, charged particles of pigment are baked into the surface of the bracket. The particles fuse to the metal and form a lustrous, uniform and extremely durable finish.
  • ROADMASTER is quick to market brackets for new vehicles, and has the widest selection — currently, more than 1,000 different mounting brackets (far more than any other company) — which fit more than 2,000 different makes and models.

XL Series 'Hidden' Brackets
The visible portion of the brackets (
the "front arms"can be easily removed when not
towing — remove two hitch pins to convert from towed car to road car in seconds!

  • They're virtually invisible — improved aesthetics
  • Computer-cut, all-steel components for exceptional strength
  • Easy to install — ROADMASTER brackets use existing attachment points on the vehicle's undercarriage — no welding!
  • Most install through the grille — no scraping brackets in dips or against curbs.

Fits:
05-09 Ford Mustang Fits all except Shelby GT.

Tue, 25 Mar 2014

Porsche has confirmed it will reduce its CO2 emissions by introducing four-cylinder engines in the next Boxster and Cayman models. CEO Matthias Müller told Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport magazine that road cars will follow the lead set by the Le Mans Porsche 919 we first saw at Geneva, by being fitted with smaller, turbocharged engines. 2014 Porsche Boxster and Cayman GTS revealed Porsche 919 Hybrid at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show Although Porsche hasn’t officially given any performance figures for the new four-cylinder petrol engine, Müller reportedly said it would boast up to 400hp – making it more powerful than the outgoing six-cylinder models, including the range-topping GTS unveiled last week.

Range Rover Evoque gets some new tech for 2014

Mon, 26 Aug 2013

When the 2014 Range Rover Evoque goes on sale in just a few months, it's going to have a whole host of new technologies on offer. As difficult as it is to believe that the Evoque is already being updated with new technology (didn't this SUV just come out a little while back?), Land Rover isn't waiting around. Over 170,000 units have been sold in just 18 months, and this compact SUV is well on its way to becoming Land Rover's sales leader of the decade if this pace keeps up.

Victor Muller dusts off the Spyker D8 Peking-Paris

Wed, 18 Apr 2012

Spyker D8 Peking-Paris Victor Muller is back trying to grab more investors with plans to put the Spyker D8 Peking-Paris in to production. Again. Just when we thought the demise of Saab would see Victor Muller buy a pipe and slippers and retire to Switzerland to contemplate his motoring adventures in to his dotage, CPP goes bust after Vlad the Investor went slightly overdrawn and Victor snatches Spyker back from its UK sojourn as a platform for more grandiose plans.
