A call to Robotow revealed the fact that adapters for various aircraft that are available now will fit this device also. Robotow has kept the dimensions of the “business” end the same so that adapters are backwards compatible. In the photo you can see that one side looks different. It may have broken off in the past and been welded back together. In any case, the set screws loosen and the end pieces will slide out. New adapters can thus be inserted and held in place. Our contact at Robotow believes that the adapter in place is designed for Beech Baron or Bonanza, but we cannot verify this. In case of questions, we suggest contacting Robotow yourself. The inserts are 3⅞” long when removed from the unit. Note that a small protrusion prevents the insert from going in too far.
