This is a 582 I was planning on using for a project, but you know how the story goes. I purchased this from a guy who had it on a trike and I was told it had less than 100 hours on it. Although I believe this to be true I can not prove it so please have this inspected by an expert for your safety prior to installation. The engine is in absolute perfect condition as you can see from the photos. I turns over smooth and has great compression. The engine has not run in over a year but has oil in carbs and crank to prevent rust. This engine is equipped with both electric and recoil start. It has a C gearbox with 2.62 to 1 gearing, as well as a centrifugal clutch to ease starting and smooth idle. This engine still has the oil injection setup on it. Also included is original paper work, a radiator, rotax overflow tank, and fuel pump. I will box engine up but buyer will be responsible for actual shipping cost. Local pickup is welcome from 80550. The new Fiesta lineup now consists of Studio, Edge, ECOnetic, Zetec, Titanium and Zetec S, with the Individual standing at the top. The Studio now comes as either a three or five doors and gets electric windows thrown in; the new Edge range gets AirCon as standard as does the ECOnetic (something we asked for when we did the Fiesta ECOnetic review – Ford must have been listening again?
Third of motorists admit to driving with no MOT
Wed, 21 Aug 2013A third of motorists have driven a car knowing the MOT had expired, risking fines of up to £1,000 and invalidating their insurance in the process. That’s according to a survey conducted by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), which found that of 1,000 UK motorists, 67% had driven without an MOT for up to a week, 24% for a month, 7% for six months and – shockingly – 2% for more than six months. Now we’d give the 67% who admitted driving without an MOT for a week the benefit of the doubt – it’s easy to forget the test is due.
