The new Kia Sorento, revealed ahead of its debut in Paris We got a tease for the 2015 Kia Sorento last month with Kia revealing the new Sorento gets a slightly more sporting look with a lower roofline, higher beltline, sculptured body surfaces and a new ‘Tiger Nose’ grill. Now, with the new Sorento due to debut in South Korea later this month – and in Europe at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October – Kia has revealed the first photos of the new Sorento. The new Sorento looks a decent effort, and the styling is certainly more appealing, despite elements carried over from the current Sorento, but there’s certainly influences from Kia’s Cross GT Concept.

Audi are bringing the S5 Sportback to Frankfurt The S5 Sportback gets Audi’s 3.0 litre supercharged lump putting out 329bhp and delivering 324lb/ft of torque. Which will give the S5 Sportback performance of around 5.2 seconds to 60 mph. This change from big V8s is a shame, but it does result in better economy – estimates for the S5 S/B are pushing on 30mpg – and the reduced emissions help car makers like Audi lower their average emissions, and important consideration these days.

GM won't show new cars in LA

GM has delayed the unveiling of two new cars the company had intended to show the press and public at the forthcoming Los Angeles auto show. The largest US automaker will now show the production versions of the Buick LaCrosse and Cadillac CTS coupe at the Detroit auto show in January instead. "We believe we can better capitalize in Detroit" said spokesman Scott Fosgard.
