Royal
Purple’s Racing ATF is a high performance lubricant designed for
automatic transmissions using Ford Type F fluids. Racing ATF is
formulated to deliver firm, positive shifts for greater clutch life and
consistency. Its exceptional oxidation resistance allows for extended
use and more time between fluid changes compared to conventional and
other synthetic fluids. Please consult Royal Purple’s automotive
technical support department when choosing a transmission fluid. Racing
ATF is fortified with Royal Purple’s proprietary Synerlec® technology
which is shown to make equipment run cooler, smoother and longer. Its
high viscosity index provides exceptional performance at a wide
temperature range making it ideal for both circle track and drag racing
applications. Racing ATF is recommended for all high performance,
non-electronic shift transmissions that use a Type F automatic
transmission fluid. Field testing in GM, Ford and Chrysler drag racing
transmissions has shown Royal Purple Racing ATF to be very consistent in
pass-to-pass performance and has resulted in the doubling or tripling
of transmission component and fluid life.

GM agrees to sell Saab to supercar company Koenigsegg
Tue, 16 Jun 2009General Motors confirmed Tuesday morning that it has a tentative agreement to sell Saab to a group led by Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg Automotive. The deal would close by the end of the third quarter and put Saab in the hands of an upstart, boutique car company known for producing eye-catching cars with gaudy horsepower ratings and even gaudier price tags. The agreement includes $600 million in financing from the European Investment Bank.
Wide-ranging, weird and wonderful John Scotti Collection to cross block in Auburn
Mon, 28 Apr 2014The John Scotti Collection is, we'd like to think, exactly the sort of assemblage of cars we would put together were we a mechanic who earned his fortune building a group of successful Montreal-based car dealerships. To be sure, the collection of roughly 450 cars represents Scotti's tastes, which seem to tend toward the muscular. But the man, who sells everything from Mitsubishis to Lamborghinis, did an admirable job branching out from the standbys that seem to fill the ranks of every large collection, finding room for both the commonplace and the strange.
