Chrysler pushes Saturday service and sees Sunday as the next frontier

Chrysler Group's Mopar parts and service division is ratcheting up efforts to get more dealers to open service departments on Saturday. Starting in January, Mopar will open all of its 20 North American parts distribution centers on Saturdays. In April, Mopar launched Saturday hours for its help desk so dealership service technicians could call with questions about repair issues.

600,000 speeders caught in a week

POLICE across Europe have announced they stopped and dealt with 600,000 speeding drivers across the whole of Europe in a single week. The operation took place between 14-20 April this year and the results have been released now that all 29 countries involved have processed the cases. The operation was organised by the European Traffic Police Network (TISPOL) to tackle the problem of speeding and dangerous driving.

That perception is given more credence by the arrival of the C-X17 at the Dubai Motor Show all spruced up with a new paint job - a lustrous Liquid Aluminium liquid metal finish. It’s a similar route to garner column inches Jaguar took with the C-X16 Concept (which turned in to the Jaguar F-Type) with extra coverage garnered after the reveal at Frankfurt in 2011 with a new white paint job - Neutron White – for the Los Angeles Auto Show a couple of months later.
