The S.W.A.T. Steering Wheel Alarm will protect your vehicle from unauthorized entry with 3 theft-deterring features: 1) Alternating warning LED's; 2) a variable alarm from 5 - 20 decibles; 3) a flashing strobe light. Comes with working batteries (see photo) No installation is required, the alarm simply fits onto the steering wheel of any car or truck. Arm and disarm with provided key (see photo). The highly visible, alternating LEDs act as a deterrent. If the vehicle is disturbed the vibration/movement sensor (which has high and low sensitivity settings from 5 to 20 (see photo) will activate the alarm and strobe for 36 seconds and then reset. Comes with one 9 volt and 2 AA batteries (all good). The alarm measures 4-1/2 inches x 3 3/4 inches x 2 inches. Citroen DS3 Cabrio to get Top Gear Live UK debut
Fri, 19 Oct 2012The drop top version of the DS3 – the Citroen DS3 Cabrio – is to get its UK debut at this year’s Top Gear Live shows. Just as Fiat has with the 500, Citroen has given the DS3 Cabrio a folding roof that keeps pillars and roof rails in place so the DS3 Cabrio looks just like the regular DS3 with the roof up, saving weight and costs and keeping the very good looks of the DS3 intact. The DS3 Cabrio is due to go on sale in early 2013 – just in time for first customer deliveries in the spring – but ahead of the UK arrival of the Cabrio you can see Citroen’s appealing drop top at this year’s Top Gear Live shows.
Lexus GS gets Supercharged for SEMA 2012
Tue, 30 Oct 2012A Lexus GS350 has been titivated and Supercharged by VIP Auto Salon ahead of a reeval at the 2012 SEMA Show. Last year – at the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas – Lexus introduced us to the sporty side of the new GS with the debut of the GS F-Sport, a titivated GS with more aggressive looks and a more sporty character But this year we’re getting something with a bit more oomph – a Lexus GS350 F-Sport with a nice meaty supercharger bolted on. We don’t actually get the GS350 in the UK – we have the choice of the GS250 with a 2.5 litre V6 or the GS450 V6 hybrid – but on the other side of the Pond they get the V6 we get in the 450h but without the hybrid gubbins, which offers 300 horses, and that’s the GS model VIP Auto Salon have given new life to.

Well, it’s Suzuki’s attempt at making a D Segment Car (think Ford Mondeo or Vauxhall Insignia) and so far it’s only been available in Japan and North America. But that’s about to change with a European launch at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
