2015 Ford Mustang makes premier 'Hero' car

The 2015 Mustang stirs up the silver screen with the latest co-branded commercial set to arrive this weekend during the Daytona 500. “Need for Speed” director Scott Waugh says that the ideal movie cars “combine tons of power, rear-wheel drive, great handling and the ability to be easily flung around corners.” So what's better than the latest and greatest Mustang to roll out of the Blue Oval? The 50th anniversary of course.

As we reported in June, Mazda has now confirmed it will unveil a compact crossover vehicle concept at the Moscow International Automobile Salon on 26 August. Called the Kazamai, which means "swirling crosswinds" in Japanese, the new vehicle is the sixth concept to employ Mazda's evolving 'Nagare' design language. The car's lines, inspired by crosswinds in nature, are claimed to evoke visual lightness, while its aerodynamic proportions accentuated by its bold front wheelarches and sleek roof line gives the design an emotional appeal.

Citroen C1 ev’ie Electric Car launched

The Citroen C1 ev'ie - the UK's first proper all electric car - launched today Based (obviously) on Citroen’s baby C1, the C1 ev’ie aims to be as car-like as possible, but offering all the economies (and most of the drawbacks!) of an electric car. The donor cars are supplied by Citroen  UK and the company claims that 50% of the value of the car is generated in the UK with the conversion to all electric drive. Designed to have a range of 60-70 miles this is a city car, pure and simple.
