I have had this sail since I bought the mariner 40 back in 2005. I do not know how old the sail is but it seems in good condition with no obvious wear around the clews or head rings. I did notice two very small patches near the foot, probably from a snag on the rigging or something but it's been repaired.
I current have no use for this sail as the boat is undergoing a refit and would like to pass this along to someone who would like it. The most important parts at the clews and head are in extremely good shape so it doesn't appear that this sail was ever used very much. The boat did not come with a spinnaker pole so I am assuming it just wasn't used often for much of anything downwind.
