This day in Autoweek history: The 1976 Chevrolet Chevette
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Today in Autoweek history, we look back to the week of September 20, 1975, when Corey Farley gave us a look at the new 1976 Chevrolet Chevette. Farley described how the Chevette handled some of the rigors of testing, which included hauling four journalists and their camera equipment around the Black Lake testing facility in Milford, Mich.
Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo brought to life and heading for Worthersee

VW are calling the GTI Roadster a supercar with aggressive styling, and the GTI Roadster certainly looks dramatic (although that drama may well be a little less extreme when it arrives in the metal) and, just like the Skoda CitiJet and SEAT Ibiza Cupster Concepts, manages without a roof.

The role call of Terry Gilliam's latest project should prove familiar to film buffs - Christoph Waltz, Matt Damon, Mélanie Thierry – although not all budding critics will be up to speed on the Twizy’s current body of work. Gilliam's The Zero Theorem is the story of an eccentric and lonely IT genius, suffering from existential neurosis, and looking for the meaning of life.
