How to buy a secondhand Ferrari 456
Fri, 10 Apr 2009By Chris Chilton Motoring Issues 10 April 2009 10:00 The value of Ferrari’s big 2+2s have always gone down the tubes like used toilet roll, but not all have looked as beautiful as the 456, whose Pininfarina lines so cleverly disguise the car’s practicality. It can’t quite match a 612 for rear space but the back seats aren’t the joke you might expect and the ride quality is great – perfect for that imaginary trip to the south of France. You might consider – as we probably wrongly did – that the tease for Lamborghni’s Paris surprise started back in June when Lamborghini sent us a photo which said ‘Coming Soon…’ across a photo of a bonnet in shadow with the Lamborghini badge in light. Or you could consider that the more recent batch of tease photos started with what we called the Jota tease 2 earlier this month.
Driver prefer atlas to sat-nav
Wed, 02 Jul 2014SATELLITE NAVIGATION may have become an integral part of many drivers’ daily routine, three quarters of the UK’s motorists (76%) say they still prefer to use a road atlas to plan journeys. Drivers in a survey by the AA said they found an atlas more useful to give an overview of a journey. While satellite navigation systems are useful, a further 65% of drivers said they still use an atlas to check the sat-nav is selecting the best route.
