This is a 377 cu in race motor built specifically for dirt track racing. Class has been cancelled so the motor is being sold. This motor is professionally built from brand new parts (other than the oil pan) and assembled perfectly by a VERY reputable machine shop in Pittsburgh Pa. The motor contains the best of EVERYTHING. The finest parts went into the engine. See photo for part numbers of EVERYTHING used. Briefly, the crank is a Callies forged 3.48 stroke crank lightened and edged. Manley 6" 4340 steel rods hung on Mahle domed 4.130 bore pistons with Mahle moly rings. Clevite H series bearings with special tricks done for high performance, are in the motor. Dart Platinum 230cc heads with Ferrea intake and exhaust valves
(@competition series) and special performance tricks done on valve job. Isky springs, retainers (titanium) and keepers are in the heads. Crower roller rockers (1.6) and 5/16 thick walled pushrods. All this was put into or installed on a Dart little "M" block. There is way to much to list! Custom Crane cam with specs in the picture and Schubeck flat mechanical lifters are in the motor. This is not junk! All new, first rate, name brand high performance parts! Email me with any questions please, we have not dyno'd motor but it should be around 600-625 hp easily. The Dart Little "M" block is 4 bolt main (all 5 mains) with billet main caps and ARP "Pro Series" studs. A large amount of special builder tricks and blueprinting has gone into this specialty engine.

A9 cameras already curbing speeders

Wed, 18 Jun 2014

NEWLY-INSTALLED cameras on one of Scotland's most notorious roads are already cutting drivers' speed. The average-speed cameras on the A9 have not yet been switched on, but have nonetheless seen the number of motorists breaking the speed the limit on the Perth to Pitlochry stretch drop from one in three to one in 10. Work began to install the devices from Perth to Inverness last month, one of a number of planned measures to improve safety on the main route connecting central Scotland and the Highlands.

VW 'to announce its WRC entry' at Rally Sardinia

Fri, 15 Apr 2011

VW Polo R WRC (2011): Volkswagen enter the WRC High-level sources in an existing World Rally Championship team have told CAR that Volkswagen will formally announce its decision to enter the WRC at Rally Sardinia, which starts on 5 May 2011, somewhat stealing the thunder of Mini’s WRC debut. It’s believed that sister firm Skoda’s Fabia Intercontinental Rally Challenge car will be used as the first step in development. This car currently runs to the 2.0-litre naturally aspirated S2000 rules, so one of the first steps will be to switch to a 1.6-litre turbo.
