G-Machine Chassis

#1 Schwartz Performance Chassis Dealer

You are bidding on a "basic" chassis only, call for adding Brakes, rearend and shocks.

Full frame chassis, now available for 1958-1964 vehicles, has been upgraded to full mandrel bent frame rails. This not only provides a much sleeker and refined look, it adds even more strength to an already solid chassis, allowing us to remove much of the cross-bracing in the center of the chassis. This opens up your cars underside to new routing options for exhausts, brake lines and fuel lines.

Base CHASSIS includes:

  • A fully welded chassis, built on a precision jig
  • Adjustable transmission crossmember
  • All front and rear suspension components (excluding coilovers): control arms, ball joints, tie rods, power rack & pinion, aluminum front wheel hubs with bearings, and teflon-lined heim joints for a quieter & bind-free suspension
  •

Payment terms: 75% down at time of order, remaining 25% due before shipment.

Shipping: For an assembled frame, we use an enclosed car transporter. If you don’t want the frame assembled, we’ll ship it truck freight in a crate. There is a crating fee which will be determined upon ordering.

NOW AVAILABLE! THE ULTIMATE UPGRADE FOR FULL-SIZE CHEVROLET / CHEVY X-FRAME CARS

Your original X-frame chassis is inherently weak. Our G-Machine Chassis isn't.

The old, flexible X-frame that your suspension components and engine are mounted to begins to flex dramatically once you add more horsepower, higher spring-rates and better brakes; not to mention it's nearly 50 years old. With our G-Machine Chassis, your car's body will encounter much less flex and added ride quality, resulting in an all-around performing vehicle. Sure, you can box the original chassis and add new components; but would you build a HOUSE without a solid foundation?
Want to out-handle late-model sports cars? You've chosen the right chassis.

    The G-Machine Chassis is available for 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, & 1964 Chevrolet fullsize "x-frame" cars:

  • Chevy Bel Air
  • Chevy Impala
  • Chevy Biscayne
  •

NOTE: Our chassis are designed to BOLT in to 1961-1964 cars ONLY. 1958 X-frame cars sat on a different wheelbase than 1959-1964. Additionally, 1959-1960 had slightly different body mount points. If you have a 1958 car, we'll need the car here to make the chassis. If you have a 1959-1960 car, we are willing to test fit our current chassis to verify mounting points so you receive a bolt-in Schwartz Performance G-Machine Chassis.

Unit being sold as an unassembled rolling chassis. Unit will come with all hardware required for assembly

All chassis are custom built to order with a precision jig.
Normal build time is 4-6 weeks.

Citroen C-XR concept (2014) first official pictures

    Tue, 22 Apr 2014

By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 22 April 2014 15:34 Citroen has unveiled its headline act of the 2014 Beijing motor show: the C-XR concept. It's a compact SUV (what else, these days) that's taller and more stout-looking then the cheeky little C4 Cactus lightweight. Officially a concept car, but looking only a set of numberplates away from showrooms, the C-XR is especially notable for being the first SUV co-developed between Citroen and its Chinese brand partner, Dongfeng motor corp.
