Porsche confirms four-cylinder Macan

Porsche has said that its new Macan SUV will come with four-cylinder engines – making it the first four-pot Porsche since 1995. Porsche engineer Antoon Janssen told MSN Cars: “There will be four-cylinder engines added to the range shortly. The Vantage S draws power from the 4.7-liter V8 making 430 hp, 10 hp more than in the base Vantage. The S also adds 15 lb-ft of torque, boosting total twist to 361 lb-ft.
