Volvo S60 Concept car (2008): first photos

By Chris Clarke First Official Pictures 27 October 2008 12:46 Volvo will provide us with a taster of the new S60 saloon when it shows the S60 concept car at the Detroit motor show in January 2009. No exterior photos have been issued yet, but Volvo today released some teaser shots of the new S60's cabin. The interior of the concept car further develops the Swedes' signature 'floating' centre console – first introduced on the S40 – and Volvo has teamed up with Swedish glass specialist Orrefors.

Jaguar C-X75 Hybrid Supercar back in the spotlight

Jaguar release new photos of the C-X75 Supercar A few days ago we heard that the hybrid underpinnings of the canned Jaguar C-X75 were going to find their way in to the F-Type to produce a 700bhp monster. We had our doubts about that, but it does seem clear that Jaguar are not going to let the C-X75 just disappear in to oblivion. For reasons probably known only to Jaguar, they’ve suddenly decided to release a new set of photos (above) of the very good looking C-X75 in a fetching shade of blue – a better look than the pale metallic paint job on all the photos we’ve seen so far – despite the project being shelved.

Renault Alpine A110-50 at Monaco? Possibly, but surely this isn’t it.

Is this a new Renault Alpine (left), or a Photoshopped Renault DeZir (right)? The rumour mill says Renault will revive Alpine with a tribute to the A110 – the Alpine A110-50. But the photo doing the rounds surely isn’t it.
