Hyundai releases second-generation Genesis renders

Hyundai's second-generation Genesis has been previewed in new renders ahead of its full reveal in Korea later this year. The Genesis, which will hit the carmaker's stand at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in January, is the first model developed with Hyundai's new ‘Fluidic Sculpture 2.0' design language. It features several cues seen on the HCD-14 Genesis concept, unveiled at this year's NAIAS, such as the sharp shoulder line and the single-frame hexagonal grille design. In fact, it's nearly unchanged from the beltline up. At the rear, the sweeping roofline flows to a short trunk lid while the rear lamps wrap around from the tailgate into the rear-quarter panels.

VW debuts Twin Up! Concept at Tokyo Motor Show

Volkswagen introduced the newest member of the XL1 family at the Tokyo Motor Show, the Twin Up! Essentially the plug-in hybrid version of the Up!, this four-seater concept car shares some of its drive system with the Volkswagen XL1 including its dual-clutch automatic transmission, diesel engine and electric motor. The Lexus RC (pictrured) will be joined by the RC F Sport and RC F GT3 at Geneva The Lexus RC F Coupe finally got a reveal at the Detroit Motor Show last month, and it’s going to get its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month alongside another new Lexus – the Lexus RC F GT3. The new RC F looks a promising challenger to cars like the new BMW M4 or the Audi RS 5, with decent looks and the promise of impressive performance from its V8 which develops more than 450bhp. Lexus want us to think that a lot of the RC F’s dynamics are taken from the DNA of the LFA, and if that’s the case the Germans could finally have real competition on their hands from Lexus.
