Lexus RX 450h F Sport at Geneva 2012 As well as the facelift for the Lexus RX 450h, Geneva saw the first appearance of the new Lexus RX 450h F Sport. We’ve already seen a fair bit about the facelift for the 2012 Lexus RX 450h in the run up to Geneva, and Lexus themselves teased the front of the new RX 450h F Sport version just before the show started. They’re off down the 3-pot road, with the introduction in the New Year of the Hyundai i10 i-Blue - an 800cc three-pot engined car that should give crackingly good economy and emissions. Based on the 2008 Hyundai i10 Blue CNG Concept that was shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2008, its 800cc, turbo-charged three-cylinder engine should be good for 90bhp and slip in to the free VED bracket, with less than 100g/km CO2 emissions.

Shelby brings back ‘Shelby American' name for performance-car business

Carroll Shelby's performance-car business is returning to its roots. Shelby Automobiles is changing its name to Shelby American--the original banner used by his sports-car business and the historic Le Mans-winning cars in the 1960s. Shelby says the switch is in honor of the 45th anniversary of two of his most famous cars, the 427 Cobra and the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350.
