Volvo V60 Polestar: OFFICIAL
Tue, 26 Nov 2013Volvo V60 Polestar: OFFICIAL Volvo has been busy teasing a new Polestar model recently, and we concluded it would be a fast Volvo estate in the guise of a production Volvo V60 Polestar. And that’s exactly what it is. This isn’t a Polestar add-on (which is already available for the T6 versions of the V60 and S60) but a stand-alone model with the same underpinnings as the S60 Polestar recently revealed for the Australian market (which now becomes a global offering).

Designed to boost the emphasis of the carmaker's various brands, including Buick and Opel, the restructuring – which comes into effect on 1 September – will focus on improving joint strategies, theme development and innovation. Mark Adams will head back to Germany to take up the position as GME vice president of Design and champion for Opel/Buick brand strategies and design language.
Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon TI is spotted in metro Detroit
Mon, 18 Jun 2012It's tough to say what a metro Detroit sighting of this manufacturer-plated Alfa Romeo 159 TI Sportwagon portends for the Italian automaker's long-anticipated return to the American market--probably nothing. Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne's plan to bring Alfa Romeo back to the United States features the sporty, limited-edition 4C coupe, the subcompact MiTo and the midsize Giulia, but not the out-of-production 159. Still, a domestic sighting of a brand-new Alfa Romeo is a rare enough occurrence that we're happy to share these photos without further comment.
