    This is a serviced, great working & good looking original 1968 Chevrolet "B" body Delco AM-FM radio # 7303231 .   This radio is STEREO MULTIPLEX READY.  Simply remove the jumper plug on the bottom and plug in the optional 4-speaker STEREO MPX ADAPTER(MPX ADAPTER IS NOT INCLUDED!!)

This radio has been fully serviced...internally/externally cleaned, lubricated, adjusted and bench tested.    

    Many NEW parts including ALL the electrolytic capacitors,  the audio pre-driver transistor & audio driver transistor.    The volume/tone controls have been flushed out & lightly oiled.   The sound is loud and clear on both AM & FM.   There is no crackling heard when adjusting the volume or tone.  Tunes smoothly.   All the pushbuttons set & work fine.   The dial numbering is bright.  The lens has been removed and buffed to nice condition.   The dial pointer has been repainted.  The knobs are usable originals.  The lens and dial numbering have the original light green tint.   This radio works like new and looks good  too .

I will not cover damages caused by improper installation, burnouts resulting from incorrect, shorted or open speakers.

Prospective buyers were treated to a seven-hour auction of Historics’ largest consignments to date, culminating in a £2.65 million sale as the hammer fell for the final time on the day, with 66% of consignments finding new owners. Whilst no longer a custodian of the law, one of the very last 50-year old Daimler SP250 ‘Dart’ police cars, whose original home was Scotland Yard, delighted enthusiast and presenter Chris Evans, who purchased the concours-condition, award-winning example for £50,400, complete with its law-enforcing accoutrements, adding; “the kids love it; the big kids love it even more”.
