Set of Solex Mikunis pulled from a race prepped A13 engine.

Not sure of the history on the engine or carbs but I do know that both carbs and engine show very little signs of usage.

Engine was in storage for several years but the carbs were stored with the gas drained and everything was wrapped up so they still look clean internally.

The horns are a little beat up and the finish is flaking a little from where it looks like the tape held moisture. Everything other than that looks pretty good though.

Intake has been ported to the head so it has been opened a little. Should not affect their use though.

Complete A13 race prepped engine is being parted / listed and I will give a discount for multiple purchases. Just ask.

Lexus sales up but Toyota's profits tumble

Wed, 13 Aug 2008

By Ben Whitworth Motor Industry 13 August 2008 13:25 With spiralling fuel prices, luxury off-roaders may be seen as the devil on wheels in the UK’s current cash-strapped economic climate – which would explain why last month saw a sharp drop in SUV sales at BMW, Audi and Mercedes. But not at Lexus. July 2008 sales of the company’s RX400h hybrid off-roader climbed 28 percent over the same period last year, rising from 223 to 285.

VW Golf R leaks ahead of Frankfurt

Mon, 14 Sep 2009

The 2010 VW Golf R with 265bhp and 4Motion It won’t surprise you to learn that VW has dropped the heavy and thirsty (though quick) 3.2 litre V6 in the last hot Golf in favour of the 2.0 litre turbo found in the Scirocco. This engine deliver 265 bhp and should give the Golf R a 0-60mph of around 6.3 seconds – or less with the DSG ‘box. The Golf R will also get VW’s 4Motion all wheel drive to add to the mix, and a raft of styling changes.

Wed, 18 Feb 2009

The 'Baby' McLaren - expected on sale in 2012 When Ron Dennis left McLaren F1 recently, he said he wasn’t putting his feet up, but had so many other things to do within McLaren that he’d be busier than ever. We’ve brought various bits of information about the McLaren P11 – the F430 / LP560 size car – recently, a project that will certainly keep Ron busy, but there’s more information coming out on the new ‘Baby’ McLaren today. Auto Express is reporting that the new baby McLaren is well on the way, and even supplied the rendering we have here.
