The Claude Gray shock absorber design has been service-proven on the EAA Biplane, Miniplane, Pitts and others. Over 1,000 pair in use. Length 6", 2" O.D., 1" I.D.. Wt. 4-1/2 lbs. per pair. Spring deflection 0.7" per 1,000 lb. force.

Ralliart unit folds, but Mitsubishi keeps name

Mitsubishi will continue using the “Ralliart” brand name despite the demise of the Japanese racing parts company this week. Ralliart Inc., a wholly owned Japanese subsidiary of Mitsubishi Motors Corp., informed global distributors on Wednesday that it would cease business operations March 31. In the United States and Europe, Mitsubishi markets a Ralliart sports version of its Lancer, which has become a sporty halo car for the brand.

Mitsubishi will assemble a new family of vehicles at its Illinois plant within two years, a source familiar with the company's plans said. The vehicles will be based on the platform underpinning the Outlander and Outlander Sport crossovers and Lancer sedan, the source said. Those models are assembled in Japan.

UPDATE: Some in the office (and in the comments) were wondering how Greenpeace got permission to use Lucasfilm footage in their parody. It appears they didn't, and the video has been pulled from YouTube due to claims of copyright infringement. We'll post an edited version when and if it becomes available.
