Great British cars immortalised on Royal Mail stamps
Tue, 13 Aug 2013Throughout the 20th century a series of great British cars have put their stamp on the world, now the Royal Mail has put some of these iconic motors on stamps. Alongside them are four workhorses that may have been less celebrated but have still done more than their fair share to further the British car industry’s cause over the years.
In its first year, Indy 500 'glamping' shows potential
Wed, 28 May 2014For the first time, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway offered “glamorous camping” or “glamping,” on the track's infield during the Indy 500. The tents were available with the choice of a comfortable queen bed, double beds, or two to four military-style cots.
BMW unveils Super Bowl spots, digital shorts
Fri, 03 Feb 2012According to said Dan Creed, Vice President of Marketing, BMW of North America, "The BMW 3 Series is the global benchmark for a sports sedan. Funny, we always thought the 3's sterling reputation lay squarely on its continually-stellar dynamics and excellent powertrains. Despite the fact that the tagline, “We only make one thing, the Ultimate Driving Machine” is repeated at the end of each of these six digital shorts, only one of them actually shows the car in motion--the one to be broadcast in the Los Angeles area during the Super Bowl.
