Audi reveals monster V12 diesel

By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 18 September 2006 08:15 Audi has revealed details of a flagship diesel Q7, which runs a V12 TDI inspired by the company's Le Mans-winning diesel racer. Ingolstadt claims the engine is the world's most powerful production diesel. The blown 6.0-litre V12 kicks out 493bhp and a staggering 737lb ft at just 1750rpm.

The new 2014 BMW 4 Series (pictured) on video It seems to have taken a while for the BMW 4 Series – the replacement for the old 3 Series Coupe – to arrive – but now it’s here. Revealed last week, the 5 Series is a convincing take on a coupe version of the 3 Series, so convincing – and with more room in the back than before – that its seems likely it will take a bigger share of ’3 Series’ sales than the previous generation coupe. Not only is the overall package of the new 4 Series more convincing, so is the spec level.

Luxury cars still in demand

DEMAND remains strong for upper executive, sports and luxury cars says British Car Auctions (BCA), as buyers continue to support the company’s programme of Top Car and Executive sales. In the first half of the year, BCA sold 8,356 cars valued in excess of £20,000, worth a combined £231.4 million. Across the board BCA has averaged 102.57% of CAP Clean for cars sold for £20,000 or more in 2012.
