In addition to the rust-preventative coating, the sockets are laser engraved every 120 degrees with extra-large markings for quick-and-easy identification. All the SK impact sockets feature the SK's SureGrip hex design, which drives the side of the hex, rather than the corner to increase strength and avoid the rounding of rusted or damaged fasteners. For added safety, their smooth collar design protects your hand by preventing the pin from coming loose while working. The extra recess depth and a 30-degree flex angle allow improved access. Thu, 05 Dec 2013The 400th Veyron – a Grand Sport Vitesse Jean-Pierre Wimille Special Edition Bugatti may have come to rely on ‘Special Edition’ Veyrons to keep making sales, but they’re now getting close to the end of their production run. The Veyron – which debuted in 2005 – is limited to a total of 300 coupes and 150 Roadsters, and all the coupes are long gone with just the Roadsters left to finish their run, and only 50 of are those left to sell. Not surprisingly, the 400th Veyron to be sold – the latest Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Jean-Pierre Wimille Special Edition – went to a client in the Middle East at a hefty €2.14 million which, at a rates of around one a week sold for the last eight years, means the Veyron will be consigned to the Bugatti history book by the end of 2014.
GM awards small-car production to Michigan plant
Fri, 26 Jun 2009General Motors will make its new subcompact car in Orion Township, Mich., the automaker said Friday, dashing hopes in Spring Hill, Tenn., and Janesville, Wis., that the small car would keep one of their factories alive. Stamping for the new car will take place in Pontiac, Mich., GM said in a statement. The small car, which GM said it plans to start producing in 2011, will save about 1,200 jobs in Orion and 200 in Pontiac.
