Fall in drug-driving admissions

THE NUMBER of motorists admitting to drug-driving is falling, according to Government figures. Just 0.5% of motorists said they had driven under the influence of drugs during the 2012/13 financial year compared with 1% who owned up to this offence during 2011/12. Based on a survey by the Office for National Statistics, the figures also showed that 6.4% of motorists had admitted drink-driving at least once in 2012/13 compared with 7.4% in 2011/12.

The Ferrari has its world premiere this week in Maranello Wednesday evening saw gala presentation of the 458 Italia to an invited crowd, and Ferrari had every Ferrari-associated face on display, from Michael Schumacher to Piero Ferrari. It’s the usual glad-handing event, but we do get a few glimpses of the 458 in motion, and it’s a curtain raiser for the proper reveal next week at Frankfurt. Scion sets stickers for the 2012 tC Release Series, xB

Toyota has released pricing details for the 2012 Scion tC Release Series and the 2012 xB. The tC Release Series 7.0 will come only with high-voltage-yellow exterior paint, black wheels and black side mirrors. The coupe will get a Toyota Racing Development body kit that includes front and rear valances, side skirts and a stylized front bumper.
