Here we have a snowmobile motor for auction.  The details are as follows:

Item: This is a Ski Doo/Rotax snowmobile motor.  It is for the 800cc twins.  It will fit the 800HO and non-HO from 2002 to 2007.  It has a fully remanufactured crankshaft with all new rods and bearings, two freshly re-plated cylinders, new dual ring pistons, pins, clips, caged rod bearings, all new gaskets, seals, plated bolts, etc. The casting numbers on these jugs is #613852, but if you have other cylinders on your core, we will swap ours out for two replated ones that will match your old jugs! I will include a baggie with new oil line and oil nipples along with all of the other gaskets you'll need to complete your installation!  It's drop-in ready!

Core Exchange Policy: To buy this motor at this price, you must have a rebuildable core for exchange.  Your case must not have any holes or cracks.  The crankshaft must be in one piece with PTO and MAG ends still attached.  The cylinders must not be ported, have any holes or cracks, and all skirting must be in tact. If your core does not meet this criteria, there will be a $900 core fee added to your bill.  If it partially meets the core requirements, let me know what you've got and I can tell you what kind of core fee you might be looking at. You can make this purchase one of two ways. First, you can send in your core, pay for the remaned motor, and we will ship it out to you the same day.  Or, you can pay the $900 core deposit up front, have our motor shipped that day, and when you receive it, you can use our box and packing material to return your old motor.  As soon as it is arrived and inspected, a core credit will be issued the same day!

Condition: Freshly Remanufactured

Shipping: We use UPS exclusively. It will cost $60 to anywhere in the lower 48 states. If you live outside of the U.S., please contact us BEFORE placing a bid.

o ATTENTION CANADIAN BIDDERS: Unless you have your own broker to handle your package at the border, UPS will send you a separate bill for their duty and brokerage fees.

For any customer service related issues, we can be contacted at 517-238-5955 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Saturday. Go to our Ebay store to see what else we have on the block! Thanks for taking a look!

Mercedes SL65 AMG (2012) first official pictures

Tue, 20 Mar 2012

If you're wondering why Mercedes is persisting with a twelve-cylinder SL in this downsizing era, understand this: the new 2012-spec SL65 AMG exists purely because many buyers at this end of the market demand more of everything. So a Mercedes SL65 AMG with a hulking bi-turbo 6.0-litre V12 has been launched for customers in China, the Middle East and other emerging markets, where millionaires are numerous and fuel prices less of an impediment to sizeable sales. Over here, we'll just ogle the price tag well into six figures and stick with the big-selling SL350 or SL500.

The Technology Behind F1 Cars: Aerodynamics [w/Video]

Fri, 18 Oct 2013

Ferrari's latest video in its ‘Discover the technology of Formula 1' YouTube series sees Scuderia Ferrari's deputy design chief Simone Resta focusing on the chassis and side pods' design and its effect on the aerodynamics. This video follows two episodes, the first of which introduced viewers to the concept of aerodynamics – which is the subject of the series' first part – while the second took a look at the design and effect of the car's front wing and nose. The great thing about this series is you don't have to be a genius – or even know your way around an F1 car – to get to grips with the concepts or terminology.
