Condition:Used

Motor built by Dan Hull. Dynoed 265hp at 9100rpm at Carl Gallaways with 48 mikuni rounds and basic pipes with stock ignition. HTG cylinders with one extra one that has not been ported. Stock stroke 779 base from a 97. Cylinders have a couple pits in the nikasil. I was going to redo them but no time. Everything you see is included and I am missing one piece to the water pipe

Should be re nikasiled. Cylinders are pretty nice but not perfect.
Not many hours on the motor but it is a prostocker after all so should probably have new rings
Does not come with o rings for the head or any gaskets.
With a better ignition, carbs and pipes this could make big power. Dan Hull makes big power.
Cylinders are HTG and price includes and extra cylinder.
1012cc regular stroke

Roger Moore’s Aston Martin DBS from The Persuaders up for sale at Bonhams (+video)

Fri, 28 Mar 2014

Lord Brett Sinclair’s Aston Martin DBS V8 from The Persuaders For those of a certain age, the 1970s TV show The Persuaders evokes fond memories of Roger Moore as Brett Sinclair and Tony Curtis as Danny Wilde fighting crime on the French Riviera and driving an Aston Martin DBS and Ferrari Dino respectively. Now, more than 40 years since The Persuaders was aired, the Aston Martin DBS used by Brett Sinclair is to be offered for sale publicly for the first time at Bonhams Aston Martin works sale in May. With The Persuaders the most glamorous and expensive of Lew Grade’s TV adventures, the Aston Martin DBS was the perfect fit for Lord Brett Sinclair’s character (although the Tony Curtis/Danny Wilde Dino wasn’t exactly top-drawer Ferrari) and Aston Martin worked with ITC to make everything work for the show.

If you've been car shopping recently, or just paying attention to Autoweek car reviews, you've noticed that the six-speed automatic -- de rigueur as recently as a year ago -- suddenly has ratio envy. The new hotness? Eight- and nine-speed automatic transmissions.

Caterham CSR 175 – Tokyo Catchup

Fri, 23 Oct 2009

The CAterham CSR 175 revealed at Tokyo We reported a few weeks ago that with the economic crisis still enveloping car makers round the world the Tokyo Motor Show was going to be almost exclusively domestic. Just Lotus – who brought the limited edition Lotus Scura – and Alpina – who brought the LWB B7 – were expected to be there to represent the rest of the world. But Caterham – inheritors of Colin Chapman’s Lotus 7  heritage – took advantage of some cheap floor space and turned up with a new car – the Caterham CSR 175./p> The CSR is Caterham’s top of the range, and this CSR 175 slots in as the bottom of the top – if that makes sense.
