To understand CHIP Tuning, you should understand the function of today’s motors in rough detail.

Since the 1990s, control units are built into the engines. Initially these control units only had simple functions. Thus, originally only the information on the fuel quantity and the injection time was transmitted by signal to the nozzles. Today the situation is of course different. The rapid growth of EDP did not leave the motor vehicle unaffected. Highly-integrated switching circuits, SMD assemblies, light conductor technology, ABS & ESP systems, solar energy and safety systems – they are all the everyday components of newer automobiles.

Greater and greater significance is also given to the engine control unit in this regard.  The engine control unit today is in charge of all engine management. It controls and regulates all of the important functions of a motor. Here the application parameters (load state, external temperature, air quality, air density, motor, oil and cooling average temperature) can be analysed and assessed depending on the driving data (RPM, loading pressure, speed). The engine control unit processes all of these data “just in time” in order to set the optimal operating condition for the engine.

The data in a program and a database are processed in the engine control unit depending on these various parameters (provided by probes and sensors). Thus, the load pressure, injection quantity and ignition time are passed on to the engine.

This program or the database are located in one or more chips in the control unit. The specialist calls the optimisation of this “software” CHIP tuning.  All engine maps, data framework and principal characteristics of the control unit are optimised using the most cutting-edge developer tools by our engineers and technicians depending on the load and speed in terms of the torque progression, performance increase and consumption.

Chip Tuning - optimizing management software electronic fuel injection system in order to obtain an increase in power up to 30% higher turbo-diesel engines or turbo-petrol and 10% diesel or gasoline aspired engines.

ECO Tuning - optimizing management software diesel injection system for trucks, vans and agricultural machinery (tractors, combine harvesters, etc..) To reduce fuel consumption by up to 15%.

Because we are a team of professionals, quality and performance are the criteria that guide us to work and together we will discover the new level of performance of your car. Take advantage of our promotions and stay aware of the new car mods we make.

engine

Increases in power up to 30% higher on turbo-diesel engines or turbo-petrol and 10% diesel or gasoline aspired engines. Even if you choose to add more power, disable EGR or reduce the fuel consumption, we will do our best to fulfill your wish
.

Through a careful and customized operation, of the software that commands operating parameters you will get performance that you don’t expect in present and we do not exceed the limits imposed by the manufacturer, gain in power and torque will feel immediately and since the motor efficiency is significantly higher consumption does not increase and may even decrease, with the same driving style before the execution of the work of chiptuning, it is however good to note that any forced and inappropriate operation of a motor can lead to premature wear or destruction of related parts, with or without chiptuning!

Bentley will return to top-level motorsport

Fri, 12 Aug 2011

Bentley will return to top-level motorsport, new chief executive Wolfgang Durheimer has revealed. Bentley pulled out of racing after its 2001-2003 stint at Le Mans, culminating in an outright win in its last year at the 24-hour race. But Durheimer, who was previously Porsche's R&D chief and who now runs the Volkswagen Group's entire motorsport division, is keen that Bentley will return to the track and revive Crewe's long and storied motorsport history.

Fans get chance to drive with Top Gear's The Stig

Thu, 31 Jul 2014

FANS OF BBC hit Top Gear will be able to experience the white-knuckle thrill of spinning round the programme's test track driven by The Stig, as well as driving laps themselves. The corporation's commercial arm BBC Worldwide is allowing viewers to be in the driving - or passenger - seat by launching a series of high-speed attractions at Dunsfold Park in Surrey, at which the programme is filmed. They can follow in the tyre tracks of celebrities such as Tom Cruise or Benedict Cumberbatch by trying out the "star in a reasonably priced car" course in a Kia Cee'd, just like those used on the BBC2 programme under the eye of a professional driver.

Infiniti Q30 Concept revealed ahead of its Frankfurt debut

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

The Infiniti Q30 Concept (pictured) will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month It’s more than two years since the Infiniti Etherea Concept concept arrived at the Geneva Motor Show to point the way towards Infiniti’s compact future, and now that future is almost here with the reveal of the Infiniti Q30 Concept following on from a teaser sketch of the Q30 earlier this month . Not that Infiniti has exactly thrown caution to the wind and sent us a whole raft of photos – just the single photo of the Q30 above – but it does give us a better idea of what Infiniti are aiming to do in the compact premium market. Based on the underpinnings of the new Mercedes A-Class – and probably using a mix of Mercedes and Renault engines – Infiniti want us to know that the Q30 isn’t just another addition to the ever increasing choice of premium crossovers, but a real of fusion of bodystyles.
