Thu, 30 Aug 2012Lada has revealed an appealing looking compact SUV concept at the Moscow Motor Show – the Lada XRAY Concept For those of us who grew up on Lada skips – and even for younger readers who only really know Lada for the Niva 4×4 or the Granta – the appearance of a good-looking Lada Concept - the Lada XRAY – at the Moscow Motor Show is a bit of a surprise. But if we look at who’s behind the XRAY, perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised. Steve Mattin, formerly with Mercedes and Volvo, penned the new Lada, and a very convincing job he’s done.

Fri, 06 Apr 20121957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider RM Auctions has added a rare 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider to its list of desirable Ferraris offered at May’s Monaco auction. RM Auction’s Monaco sale takes place the same weekend as the Monaco Grand Prix in May, and we’re starting to wonder which will be the biggest attraction after RM revealed a new addition to their list of ultra rare and desirable Ferraris up for auction at their event. The 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider – chassis #0680 MDTR – is the rarest of all TRs made and is one of just two factory-built TRCs.
L’argus Student Competition 2009
Wed, 28 Jan 2009French magazine L'argus de l'automobile has announced the winners of its seventh Student Competition Awards, themed ‘Automobile Design for Social Utility'. Open to students studying design within the European Union and Switzerland, the competition culminated at a recent awards ceremony at the Eiffel Tower. The first prize of €3000 and an internship at Renault's Technocentre in Guyancourt (near Paris) went to Damien Grossemy, Thibaut Dereymacker and Maxime Dimarco from the Institut Supérieur de Design in Valenciennes, France.
