 This is a Snap-On MT-2500 scan tool. It comes with the accessories pictured, though you will probably want to upgrade to a new module for OBD-II. Adapters included are (non-OBD-II) GM, Chrysler and Ford, and a universal plug. Comes with carrying case, and manuals (again, as shown.) Requires a standard 9V battery, not included. Unit powers up fine, and reads the modules, no warranty expressed or implied however. There is an image of the unit powered up to the start-up page.

The US Spec Chevy Cruze has been revealed ahead of its launch at the LA Auto Show It’s the LA Auto Show this week, and one of the debuts is – somewhat bizarrely – the launch of the 2010 / 2011 Chevy Cruze. Is that an all new Chevy Cruze they’re launching, I hear you ask? No, it’s the Chevy Cruze revealed in the UK back in the Spring and even earlier in other markets.

First Sight: Infiniti Emerg-e

It's a month before the Geneva motor show and amongst the usual pre Motor Show commotion I receive a string of cryptic emails about an Infiniti electric sports car concept. The name Emerg-e is only revealed as I drive to the secret preview at Park Royal Studios in West London to meet the big three in design – global design director Shiro Nakamura, Francois Bancon of advanced design and head of Nissan Design Europe Victor Nacif. This is clearly a critical car for Infiniti.

Eterniti Motors: a new UK-built luxury SUV (2012)

A new British car company will launch at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show - Eterniti Motors - and its first car will be a luxury crossover. Incredibly, the new bespoke manufacturer will be based in London, where it says it will design and assemble its new top-end cars. The first model, which doesn't have a name yet, will be a crossover in the mould of the Lagonda SUV: a £150,000-200,000 luxury 4x4, based on the mechanicals of a mainstream crossover.
