Alfa Romeo MiTo & Giulietta 5 Year Warranty – but be quick

Sat, 07 Jul 2012

The Alfa MiTo and Alfa Giulietta are to get a 5 Year Warranty from Alfa Romeo in the UK – but there’s a catch. What is it that makes car buyers brand loyal? It’s a good question, and if there was an easy answer car makers would be stealing each others customers at will.

Jaguar C-X16 (Jaguar XE) Driving Video

Mon, 19 Sep 2011

Jaguar C-X16 Driving Video Jaguar is making the most of their new small sports car – the Jaguar C-X16 – as it builds onwards and upwards from the début of the C-X16 at Frankfurt last week to the launch of the production car – probably the Jaguar XE – late in 2012 or early 2013. We had rafts of information and photos – and a short video – when the C-X16 bowed in last week, but now we get a more revealing driving video showing the interior and exterior of the C-X16 in more detail, and some driving footage on incredible roads too. Yes, we were a little underwhelmed by the direction the design of the C-X16 has taken – more conservative than we would have liked to have seen – but we have no issues with the design per se – it’s a stunner.

And now, having matched the Japanese in the mainstream market Kia, in particular, is looking to take things up a rung or three with the Kia GT. We praised the styling of the Kia GT when we saw the first photo, but we believed it was likely just a design exercise; a sort of ‘Look what we could do if there was a market for it’ kind of statement.
