Up for sale is a Snap On Torqometer 100 FU dial type torque wrench. 0 to100 ft pounds. USA made. I tested it comparing it to my digital Techwrench by Snap On. It was recently calibrated so I know it's right. These Torqometers were right on. These have a needle with a knob that you set at the desired torque. Then as you apply force you can tell exactly when you have reached the desired reading.  These are complete. I have had questions about what additional handle is needed. None they are ready to go!!! My Snap On man tells me this type is rated to be accurate to within 1 %.  + or -. The click type are rated around 4 %. So these are more accurate! They will also measure left hand torque. I'M SO SURE OF THESE THAT I WILL ACCEPT 60 DAY RETURNS
My Snap On man says these sell for about 280.00 New

eBay is going toward immediate checkout. I have set up shipping discounts that automatically give you 50% off the shipping on additional items you may purchase. To get that discount, simply put the items you want in your cart and check out all at once.

Jaguar XFR-S arrives ahead of LA debut

Wed, 28 Nov 2012

The Jaguar XFR-S – Jaguar’s most powerful saloon car to date – has leaked out ahead of its debut tonight at the Los Angeles Auto Show. We’re hoping that Jaguar has managed to bestow extra power on the very appealing XFR without wrecking the stuff that makes Jaguar saloons so appealing – the dynamic/ride balance – which, if they have, will make the XFR-S a more appealing bonkers sports saloon than the German offerings. The promise is all there with a new butch front end, a more aggressive body kit, chunks of carbon fibre, a huge rear wing for extra downforce, a new diffuser at the back, stiffer springs, a new rear subframe with stiffer bushes, a tweaked active diff and a tweak of the stability control for more fun.

Citroën DS Numéro 9 set to woo new Chinese bourgeoisie [w/video]

Fri, 13 Apr 2012

The Citroën DS Numéro 9, which will make its debut at the Beijing auto show, marks a return of luxury French motoring – a segment the nation has shied away from in recent years. This follows the poor sales of cars such as the Renault Vel Satis, Peugeot 607 and Citroën's own C6 beyond the handful of examples commandeered to whisk French politicians between Parisian Arrondissements. However while the desire for Gallic limos has all but died in their traditional heartlands, the demand for European luxe amongst the growing Chinese bourgeoisie – be it fashion, wine or cars – offers a new lifeline to the French curios we all love other people to own.

2012 Mercedes SL Spied

Fri, 31 Dec 2010

2012 Mercedes SL caught testing When the fifth generation Mercedes SL hit the headlines back in 2002 it was a revelation, offering as it did the best of a coupe and a convertible and a completely bonkers performance version in the SL55. But eight years is a long time in the life of a car – even with a cosmetic facelift in 2008 – and the SL has lost its way as the flagship of the Mercedes range. More powerful cars like the SLS have put the SL in to the shadows, and even its little brother – the Mercedes SLK – is probably more desirable.
